Acceptance of the conditions detailed below as per Scottish Law and Custom is implied when a booking is made.
We do not store your personal and financial information or share it with anyone.
The Tour
A half day tour is a maximum of 4 hours. A full day tour is a maximum of 8 hours.
Luggage
Please limit your luggage to a small suitcase, maximum weight 15kg per person.
We reserve the right not to carry luggage that we believe to be overweight.
Exclusions: You are booking and paying for transportation and the services of a driver/guide only.
Accommodation, meals, refreshments and entry fees are not included.
Booking Confirmation
Your booking will only be confirmed when 20% of the quoted tour is received by Skye Day Tours or an appointed agent.
Skye Day Tours reserves the right to cancel trips under exceptional circumstances.
In such cases clients will be promptly informed and offered: a transfer to a substitute tour, an alternative tour provided by another tour operator or a full refund of any payments to Skye Day Tours.
Travel Insurance
Clients should have appropriate and adequate insurance to cover death, personal injury, medical expenses, repatriation expenses, loss of or damage to luggage and contents of same and expenses associated with cancellation or curtailment of a tour.
Each client is responsible for loss of or damage to baggage or personal possessions or consequential loss arising there from. In the event of client illness or client injury then the client must accept responsibility for any medical costs incurred and Skye Day Tours shall not be liable to refund any part of the tour cost.
Health and Safety
Clients are responsible for your own safety when engaged in activities off of the bus. These are carried out at your own risk. The presence of the guide does not imply encouragement, control over or direction of the activity. Smoking or vaping is not allowed in any of our vehicles.
Vehicles
We reserve the right to change the type of vehicle used if the circumstances dictate this is necessary.
Itineraries
We reserve the right to change timetables or tour itineraries due to weather, availability of attractions, roadwork’s or any other situation beyond our control.Refunds will not be offered in these circumstances.
Cancellations & Refunds
Where the passenger cancels a tour reservation, if cancelled more than 7 days before the tour then all payments will be refunded, if 7 days or less, there will be no refund.
