An Unforgettable Day on Skye with Duncan If you’re looking for a tour of the Isle of Skye that feels less like a generic bus trip and more like a day out with a very well-informed friend, look no further than Duncan. Being a local, Duncan’s depth of knowledge regarding the area’s history and hidden gems is second to none. He kept us captivated with stories all day, but what really impressed us was his flexibility. When the filming of the new Highlander movie threw a wrench in our plans and closed off some of our intended sights, Duncan didn’t miss a beat. He immediately pivoted to some fantastic alternative spots that were just as stunning, ensuring we didn't miss out on the magic of the island. We even had a bit of unexpected drama at our lunch stop at Neist Point. We arrived right in the middle of a rescue operation for someone who’d had a fall. Seeing the airlift take place was a sobering reminder of the rugged landscape, but thankfully, we heard it wasn't life-threatening. Even with the Hollywood disruptions and the real-life rescue, Duncan made the day seamless, educational, and incredibly fun.
